They simply got tired of touring without being paid royalties due, as well as being under a lot of pressure from deejays and their record company to write more "communication" songs.
Yes.. they did the Dick Clark Show two times and Clark's " Where The Action Is" 4 times and The Steve Allen Show.. as well as various local tv shows depending on what town they were in at the time.

Yes...4.."I See The Light".."Western Union/Sound of Love".."Progressions" and "Now and Then" a double album..all of them can be ordered from your local record store... SunDazed Music has Two new compilations.....the "I See The Light" album and the" Western Union" album...these CD's have most of their songs on them..however they will release a new "Best Of" in late January 2002.

Actually Mike Norman and John all sang lead at the same time.. but John Durrill's voice was the most prominent on the final mix.

They did.. Mike Rabon signed with UNI ( a subsidiary of Twentieth Century Fox) for one album and one single. Despite a good effort on Rabon's part.. most of the promotion and attention went to the ONLY other artist that UNI had signed at the time.....Elton John. However Rabon's group.. Michael Rabon and Choctaw went on to become a very successful touring band through the mid-seventies setting attendance records in clubs in towns like Austin Texas and Aspen Colorado.

Norman Ezell and John Durrill where the first two members of the group to leave...to fulfill previous bookings and to finish the last album (Now And Then) a double album, Bobby Rambo (former lead guitarist for Jon and Robin) from Dallas and Lennie Goldsmith (keyboards) from San Francisco were signed on as " Americans".
If the competition doesn't get you.. the road eventually will.... So he preferred to have his few moments of fame and move on.... to be encircled by family and friends.
